Chemical Source Apportionment under the WFD - Model Scoping Document

Price: £300

Ref: 10/WW/02/2
ISBN: 1 84057 575 1

This project seeks to develop a source apportionment tool capable of quantifying the significance of highway and urban runoff, WwTW effluent, sewer overflows, agricultural runoff, minewater drainage and natural and atmospheric deposition to UK rivers in order to fairly attribute future programmes of measures to meet Environmental Quality Standards. The scoping document is the first report from the project. It identifies key datasets and describes methodologies for combining GIS and SIMCAT to provide user friendly outputs on a water body scale for the whole of England and Wales.
