This report is sold with supporting software and a Help Manual. The Pollution Inventory is now being extended to include the discharges from sewage treatment works. This project has developed a simplified and practicable protocol to estimate the annual discharge loads of the substances on the PI list from sewage treatment works. This approach involved the development of a piece of software that embodies database and calculation functions. PI discharges from sewage treatment works can now be estimated, based on the connected population, dry weather flow and calculated trade effluent additions. Also produced during this study was a report on handling data sets containing below Limit Of Detection data.
